Stemming from its Old-World French family roots, Couvillion artisan
wines exhibit the best a winery can offer. Pronounced “Coo-vee-on,”
Couvillion is named for Winemaker Jill Noble’s friend, Connie
O’Neil of Lousiana. “It is her family name. It’s
French-Canadian and I wanted to honor her because she is so dear
to my heart,” says Jill.
The “Hoobie” label, which graces the Sauvignon Blanc
bottle, is in honor and memory of another special friend of Jill
and her family. Each year, Jill will dedicate the Sauvignon Blanc
to the memory of Hoobie—fewer than 100 cases of this special
wine will be released.
Couvillion specializes in producing limited amounts of Cabernet
Sauvignon, Merlot and a special Sauvignon Blanc. Click
