You did what?
What can I say? I was hooked — grape, vine and snifter. Upon completing the program, I found myself working alongside master vintners such as French-born winemaker Marie-Eve Gilla of Forgeron Cellars and John Abbott of Abeja Winery.
In the Spring of 2006, Couvillion Winery opened its doors. And I was free to develop my own unique style rooted in the finest French winemaking tradition.
Making wine is more than a passion. It is my life. It totally fulfills me. The choosing of the grapes, the crush, the art and science of fermentation — all of it makes my heart sing. That’s my story. And this is my winery. Welcome.

It started in 2002 with a trip to Walla Walla Community College to sign up for Spanish classes. By the time I got back to the family farm (my husband Craig is a WSU alumnus and 5th generation wheat farmer), I had signed up for a two year Enology and Viticulture program. The dream of an award-winning winery was born. Much to the surprise of my aforementioned family.
The name “Couvillion” (Koo-vee-yon) is French-Canadian. It’s also the family name of a dear friend of mine from New Orleans, Dr. Connie O’Neil. I chose the name to honor her memory and her influence on my life.
